Natural Homemade Body Butter

  • Body butter is extracted from the rich shea nut
  • It absorbs easily into the skin
  • Moisturizes for longer duration

    SIMPLE TECHNIQUES


    1. Shea Body Butter & Coconut Oil Cream:-


    Both these ingredients have amazing hydrating and moisturising properties.
  • Pour 3 cups of water in a vessel and boil it
  • Take 150 ml of shea butter in a bowl
  • Lower the heat of the boiling water and place the bowl containing shea butter in it
  • We are basically melting shea butter in a double boiler
  • Once the butter has melted
  • Add 120 ml of coconut oil
  • Keep mixing
  • Add 5 drops of almond oil.
  • Add 1tsp of corn starch
  • Mix well
  • Now add 8 drops calendula oil, 6 drops lavender oil and 3 drops ylang ylang oil
  • Now remove the shea butter bowl and place it in another large bowl which has some water
  • Add an ice cube in the larger bowl
  • Keep beating the ingredients together until the lotion turns into a creamy consistency
  • Store this in glass jar & put a lid on top
  • Store the jars in your refrigerator and use the lotion within one week

    TIPS


  • Apply on your entire body.
  • Focus more on areas which are dry and wrinkled.
  • Apply over scars or marks to help repair skin damage.
