- Body butter is extracted from the rich shea nut
- It absorbs easily into the skin
- Moisturizes for longer duration
- Reduces wrinkles and stretch marks
- Soothes sun burnt skin
- Contains fatty acids & essential vitamins
- Heals skin damaged due to psoriasis & eczema
- Pour 3 cups of water in a vessel and boil it
- Take 150 ml of shea butter in a bowl
- Lower the heat of the boiling water and place the bowl containing shea butter in it
- We are basically melting shea butter in a double boiler
- Once the butter has melted
- Add 120 ml of coconut oil
- Keep mixing
- Add 5 drops of almond oil.
- Add 1tsp of corn starch
- Mix well
- Now add 8 drops calendula oil, 6 drops lavender oil and 3 drops ylang ylang oil
- Now remove the shea butter bowl and place it in another large bowl which has some water
- Add an ice cube in the larger bowl
- Keep beating the ingredients together until the lotion turns into a creamy consistency
- Store this in glass jar & put a lid on top
- Store the jars in your refrigerator and use the lotion within one week
- Apply on your entire body.
- Focus more on areas which are dry and wrinkled.
- Apply over scars or marks to help repair skin damage.
