- Urinary tract infection occurs when the bacteria enter and multiply in the urinary tract
- The urinary tract consists of:
- Kidneys
- Uterus
- Bladder
- Urethra
- Women are more prone to this infection
- Having multiple sexual partners
- During intercourse, the penis can push the bacteria from the vagina into the urethra
- Holding urine for too long weakens the bladder.

- Constant urge to urinate, although the urine passed is minimal
- Pungent smell in urine

- If untreated, it can affect the kidneys and lead to:-
- Fever
- Nausea

- Take 1 cup of hot water
- Add 2 tsp coriander powder
- Mix well
- Drink twice a day
- Chop a handful of spinach leaves
- Take 1 bowl of sliced carrots
- Add both to about 1/2 L water
- Boil for 15-20 min
- Strain the water and crush the vegetables
- Extract juice of vegetables to make soup
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Drink the soup 2 times a day
- Drink 8-10 glasses of water every day as it helps flush toxins from the body
